My Monthly Favourites! August Beauty & Skin Care Products

This month has been pretty intense with the "I want to try new stuff" state of mind of mine, so here are the consequences. Well, I want to warn you that this may seem a L'Oréal haul but it is not, I promise.

I have never been the type of girl that always tries new products and likes to test out stuff, I usually always already know that I'm going to like what I'm buying. Buy this month I fell in love at first sight with a new new things that I absolutely wanted to try, so I thought to share with you some of the beauty things that I loved and a couple of skin care products as well!

1. NYX Away We Glow Liquid Highlighter

I'm not gonna lie, I actually had already used this highlighter a few years ago and had already loved it, but for any obscure reason I decided to let it sit in a corner and try out new things. Where did I leave my mind?! I discovered it again a few weeks ago and I think this is the most natural and shiny highlighter I have ever used, definitely one of my all time fave! Mine is in the shade Cristal Glare.

2. MAYBELLINE Infallible Pro Matte Les Chocolates Lipsticks

This lipstick is probably the best liquid lipstick I have ever tried so far, and not just because of the smell - everyone who knows me knows that I'm most likely to buy products because of their smell, I know, smart. The colors are gorgeous and mine in particular, which is in the shade Candy Man is a stunning nude pink. Can you believe that I couldn't even take this lipstick off with make up remover? Not too dry and long lasting, adore!

3. L'ORÉAL Shine Lipstick

This lipstick i have actually worn pretty much everyday for the last month - it has the consistency of a lip balm, but it looks like a lipstick. It's super shiny and pigmented and this one in the shade Topless is the closest shade I could possibly find to my lip colors!

4. L'ORÉAL Paris Color Richie Nail Polishes

Disclaimer: I haven't found out about these nail polishes this month, as I have been loving them for ages! The pink one is the first Color Richie nail polish which I ever got, stunning pink in the number 222, Jardin Des Roses. But this color in number 550, Rouge Sauvage,  is one of the prettiest I could ever find, and it has gel-like consistency and duration - again, let's not think about the smell which is gorgeous.

5. Maybelline Baby Lips Doctor Rescue

I know, I know. This is an old baby. But this color I've worn pretty much everyday when I didn't feel like using an actual lipstick, or even just when my lips were too dry. Super hydrating!

6. Leocrema Moisturiser - on my lips

This is an old classic of mine as well, but this is actually a new use! I found that by using a little bit of this super hydrating moisturiser on my lips before I go to bed, in about 3 or 4 days my lips look so much healthier and not chapped at all, lipstick wears on top like a dream!

7. L'ORÉAL Face Clay Mask

I've always loved l'oréal face masks - I have used the Detox one for ages and I'm now at my second bottle of it - so I had no doubt on this new one which I found! It already shows results after second application, and wears so thin on the skin. First time I tried it, I actually even forgot I was supposed to wash it off! And also...it's blue! Like...so cool, c'mon.

These were just a few products that I have tried and loved a lot this month, I thought about sharing with you just because I never really try out a lot of new things, so this month was an exception.
