The New Way To Wear Hoop Earrings

Hoop earrings have been such a classic of the early 2000s, when every girl wanted to feel powerful and, of course, stylish, and they have then made a huge come back in the past couple of years, when both celebrities and us, ordinary people, have rocked a pair of silver or gold hoop earrings. But this time, things might slightly change, as new creative ideas developed, based on the concept of the classic (and classy) hoops, that see the introduction of geometric forms, or simple alternative ways to represent the idea.
This is a concept which I really love a lot, so I collected some of my favourite ideas for new hoop earrings, which appear at the same time bold, but classy.

Reverse 

These are the new hoops for excellence: hoops, yes, but in a reverse way. Classic mixed to new, who doesn't love a touch of vintage style combined to the hoops trend?

Classy

Two alternative concepts: the reversed hoop and a plain bar in the middle. It may sound pretty bold, but these earrings are actually super classy.

Half full (or half empty?)

Regular earrings with half full circles at the bottom. In whichever way you want to see these earrings, no one can deny they have a sort of childish, innocent and fun vibe to it. 

Bold

Ordinary hoops with a bar connecting the two edges. If you are searching for a way to express yourself and letting everyone know you're a badass (pardon but there is no better word to express the concept) well, these are for you.

Retro chic

Thick small hoops, with thicker classic hoops inserted in the inside. I would define these earrings more as a 90s vibe kind of accessory, which we all appreciate.

Bubblegum Hoop

Hoop inside hoop: smaller and thicker hoop inside a thinner but larger hoop. If you are not a fan of huge earrings, but still want to wear a cute pair without it looking too much, these are already yours.

Geometrical

Regular long earring holding a circle. While these earrings might be totally gorgeous for some people, for some of us they might be a nightmare: perfect circles in which the ear piercing represents the exact center. Too much geometry, no thanks. But other than that, who wouldn't fall in love with these tumblr looking earrings?

Minimal

Classic hoops with a thin bar connecting the edges. These may probably be the perfect half way between bold, eccentric hoops and minimal lobe earrings, as they seem small enough to be comfortable, but big enough to be noticed.

Little

Small lobe-size hoops worn as regular earrings. Hoop earrings are not only meant to be worn as wide and big, these new creations are alsoperfect for smaller sizes, for those of us who don't feel comfortable wearing huge accessories, or simply don't like extravagant earrings.

I have to say I really do love all of these trends! But some of them which I can already see myself wearing, are definitely the Bold type (maybe in a more discrete version, because I personally am not that bold), and the Minimal! Two opposite poles, I know right, how lunatic am I?
