New Trends From The Runway: SS 2018
Runways are usually the best way the world has to observe what is new and what is going to belong to the past in the fashion machine, and for the fashion industries, this is the best way to dictate the newest trends and claim their own identity.
There are lots of fashion brands out there, manny many fashion brands, but none of them is like the other, because they all have their own personalities, and they are able to show it trhough their creations, and in response, we are certainly able to see that.
BUT scrolling through the pictures of this year's S/S collections, made by different brands, I noticed some similarities among some of my favorite names: they must have probably uncosciously agreed that 2018 has to be the year for new changes, starting on specific trends.
Here I grouped just a few trends that i loved, so to be able to share with you.
1. Colors Colors Colors
The all time black is officially gone, and colors have made their back into runway's closets! (is it really gone though? It probably never will...not for me at least, sorry)
Though it will be hard to completely abandon black as a go to color, so I'd mostly describe it as an awaken of the sleeping colors.
We have a huge YES to all kinds of combinations of colors, from pastel to bright, to a mix of the both.

2. Unconvetional Fur
2018 will be the year for new crazy unconventional fur, and we must accept it with no shame at all; the key word is fun.
It can be made in wool, feathers, faux fur, and can be worn in any way, from head to toe (literally).

3. Flowers

This is probably a trend that we all have already seen and worn ourselves, but the fashion world has called it in and amplied. Reds, Pinks and Burgundies have been the go-to colors of this year, but we now also have more colors (yes, colors again): we have green, blue, yellow, everything nature, and even more!

4. Funky boots
Yes, colors again.
2017 has been the year of the over the knee boots, we all have rocked a pair of black or nude boots so far, but 2018 will also rock crazy funky colored boots. So if you struggle to picture yourself wearing a over-the-knee, open-toe, velvet and leather, green and yellow kind of boots, you may get surprised.
top to bottom: chanel, versace, alexander vauthier
Nice post! I'm so excited for better weather and brighter colours!
